We can easily observe that, lately, domains and technologies are mixing and producers are trying to come up with products that can satisfy a wide range of customers. So, mobile devices that are now being launched are totally different from what was on the market a year ago. We can observe a specialization of mobile phones, each having a key feature. For example, we have camera phone, music phone, gaming phones and, recently, TV phones.
Panasonic has launched the P905iTv, which is more likely to be the new member of the Viera TV series than a mobile phone. It is equipped with a brilliant 3.5 inches TFT display that offers a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels and can be used in landscape mode for the best video experience so far on a handheld device. The display is produced using Viera technology and it is capable of a 4000:1 contrast at 30 frames per second. Also, the display features the LCD Artificial Intelligence technology that is automatically adjusting the brightness of the screen. On the connectivity side, the phone offers a HSDPA connector that allows a high data transfer speed.
The Panasonic product is also provided with a 2Mpx auto focus camera, equipped with an image stabilization system. But the most impressive feature of the new device is its autonomy, being capable of 660 hours of standby time, 230 minutes of talking time and more than 160 hours of video playing. For data and information storage, Panasonic adopted the microSD and microSDHC memory cards, that have the advantage of offering a lot of storage space at a low price.
